What controls your smoking habit? Perhaps it should be you!

Hypnosis and hypnotherapy are the most powerful ways to break the habit and stop smoking .
What would it be like if you could be a real non-smoker..?

Habits are easy to make and hard to break. That's what they say, and to some extent that is true.

Certainly, the longer we keep a habit, the more it becomes a part of our unconscious behaviour, and breaking it does take a lot of hard work from our conscious mind. That's where hypnosis and hypnotherapy are so important to help you give up smoking and become a real non-smoker .

The hardest habits to break and the easiest to make are, not surprisingly, the ones that make us feel good! This is the category that smoking comes into! But being a non-smoker can make us feel even better.

On the other hand, the hardest to make and easiest to break are the ones we impose on ourselves to try and change our lives. Change work can be hard work and there are no quick fixes! The quick fix leads to failure and more pain. Change work does requires sacrifice or some sort but hypnosis and hypnotherapy help you combat the short term pain and lead you to real life-changing success. (Of course, you do become a non-smoker the second that you put the last cigarette out, so what makes you start again?)

Do you really want to stop smoking? Of course you do! They say that 7 out of 10 people don't smoke and of those who do, 7 out of 10 want to stop. There are many quick fix ways to stop smoking. If one of them has worked for you - that's great, well done! But as you are reading this page it probably hasn't and you are still wondering, "What on earth can I do?"

• "I want to live a long healthy life."

• "I want to see my grandchildren grow up."

• "I wish I could get rid of this cough."

• "I just hate to think of the state of my heart and lungs."

These are all good reasons to give up smoking so please have another go to try again and achieve your desire.

But, if what you are doing doesn't work, try something different!

Smoking is a habit; habits are very easy to form and can be difficult, very difficult, to change. But nothing is impossible - it can be done. Hypnotherapy, combined with other solution focused techniques, is the most powerful way to change habits, and change them for good. Patches have a success rate after 1 year of around 15%. That's much better than willpower when maybe 2-5% can stop for good. A proficient hypnotherapist would expect between 65 - 90% of clients still not smoking after 1 year.

Why is hypnosis so useful? Drift back in time when you had that first cigarette. Can you recall what that felt like? You'll remember just how painful it was, your body letting you know in so many ways that it really didn't want that smoke in its lungs. But you persevered. And in the process you quickly developed certain beliefs about smoking that determined your behaviour for the future. In other words you learned how to smoke, in the same way as perhaps you learned to tie your shoelaces or drive a car. In fact, you learn how to do anything by persevering. You know what I mean, don't you?

Now, that learned pattern continues to run in your unconscious mind and you still live out the same beliefs about smoking. And around those beliefs, other beliefs grew, all those associative behaviours with smoking seem to be so real and a necessary part of life, don't they?

Hypnosis is a state of altered consciousness. When you experience hypnosis your unconscious mind can learn new things quickly. Are you beginning to see that hypnosis can quickly help you to discover new choices about those beliefs and so change the feelings you have about smoking. And soon you'll notice that smoking cigarettes becomes a neutral activity with no feeling attached to it. Just like a non-smoker!

Neither willpower, nor patches, nor anti-smoking drugs have that effect on the unconscious mind. In fact they are all conscious activities and cannot change the patterns we live by that run in the back of our mind quite unconsciously. And that's exactly why anyone who stops smoking using these methods has done only that - they've stopped. They are not a non-smoker and are liable to slip back into the old ways. That's why hypnosis offers by far the greatest chance of helping anyone, including you, to stop smoking for good - if you want to!

So, what are you waiting for? The choice is yours! And remember, the sooner you stop, the sooner the damage already done will begin to heal. Click here for details
